Diving in Galapagos is an incredible experience, for this reason in 2001 Galapagos was considered the best diving destination in the world. The abundance of colorful marine life and unusual mixture of species is thanks to the merging of the cold waters of Antarctica (Humbolt current) and the warm currents from the Tropical Pacific (El Niño flow) and the Cromwell Current that comes from the west. Here you can dive surrounded by tropical fish, penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, amazing hammerhead sharks, whale sharks and different species of rays.
